On August 16, the Southern Saigon Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) is coordinating with Ba Ria Ward Police to examine the scene to resolve a traffic accident that occurred between a 7-seater car and a 16-seater car in Ba Ria ward.
According to images recorded by security cameras, at about 4:55 am on August 16, a 16-seater car with license plate 50E-54x. xx was traveling on Tran Hung Dao street in the direction from Hung Vuong street to Pham Hung street. When it reached the Tran Hung Dao - Nguyen Tat Thanh intersection, it collided with a 7-seater car with license plate 60H-32x. xx traveling on Nguyen Tat Thanh street in the direction to National Highway 51.
The strong collision caused car 50E-54x. xx to turn more than 90 degrees away from the direction of movement, while car 60H-32x. xx overturned in the middle of the intersection; both vehicles were heavily damaged.
According to the owner of the 16-seater car, passengers on the car were not injured, only panicked after the collision. Many passengers on the 7-seater car were scratched and taken to a nearby medical facility for examination.
Currently, the incident is being verified and clarified by functional agencies to resolve the accident according to regulations.
