At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense awarded the Third-class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Military Technical Academy.

At the conference, the Provincial Military Command announced and awarded decisions of Military Region 5 on the transfer and appointment of 22 officers and soldiers.
In which, 3 officials were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command; 2 officials held the position of Deputy Head of Political Department of the Provincial Military Command; 1 official was transferred to hold the position of Deputy Head of Information Department, Military Region 5 General Staff; 1 official held the position of Head of Artillery Department, Staff Department, Provincial Military Command.
In addition, 15 officials and officers were appointed to hold key positions in newly established units according to the policy of the Ministry of National Defense.

Implementing Decision No. 168/QD-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense on the transfer of cadres, authorized by the Standing Committee, the Head of the Military Region Command, the Party Committee, Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command announced the decision to transfer and assign 5 cadres to work at educational institutions in the province.
Major Tran Manh Hung - Operations Assistant, Staff Department, Regional Defense Command 2 - Binh Lieu and Major Tran Ngoc Hung - Company Commander of Company 12 (Cối 82), Battalion 3, Infantry Regiment 244, were also assigned to work at Ha Long University.
Major Nguyen Duc Lam - Operations Assistant, Military Command of Hiep Hoa Ward was assigned to work at Ha Long University.
Major Nguyen Ngoc Hai - Political Assistant, An Sinh Ward Military Command and Major Doan Manh Ha - Operations Assistant, Mao Khe Ward Military Command were assigned to work at Quang Ninh University of Industry.
According to the decision, officials will be present at the new unit from August 17, 2026.
