Lao Cai - Receiving a report that a truck was swept away by floodwaters and trapped, 10 police officers and soldiers and local people urgently deployed rescue efforts.

On June 30, Lao Cai Provincial Police informed that in the late afternoon of June 29, Ngu Chi Son Commune Police received a report from people about a truck being swept away by floodwaters while moving across a stream in Xin Chai village.

Through verification, the vehicle was driven by Mr. B.L. M. T (born in 1986, residing in Lao Cai ward). When the vehicle moved into the concrete sample taking area, heavy rain caused the stream water level to suddenly rise, and strong currents swept the vehicle away and trapped it between rocks.

Immediately after receiving the news, Ngu Chi Son Commune Police mobilized 10 officers and soldiers to urgently arrive at the scene, coordinating with local people to deploy rescue measures.

In conditions of strong floodwaters and dangerous terrain, functional forces used cables to fix and pull the vehicle out of the trapped position. After more than an hour of effort, the truck was safely brought ashore.
