Demolition of house gate in Lam Dong, man crushed to death by concrete pillar

    Lam Dong - While dismantling the gate of a resident's house in B'Lao ward, a man was unfortunately hit by a collapsed concrete pillar and died afterwards.

    On the afternoon of September 5, leaders of B'Lao ward (Lam Dong) confirmed that a labor accident had just occurred in the area, killing a man.

    The victim was identified as Mr. N.C.Q (43 years old, residing in Nghe An province), working as a freelancer.

    Initial information, at about 11:30 am on the same day, Mr. Q and another man proceeded to dismantle and relocate the gate of a house in alley 96 To Huu street, B'Lao ward.

    While dismantling, the gate pillar suddenly fell. Mr. Q tried to escape but unfortunately tripped and fell, being crushed by the concrete pillar.

    People quickly helped take the victim to Lam Dong Hospital II for emergency treatment. However, due to the severe injuries, Mr. Q died later.

    Upon receiving the news, functional agencies of Lam Dong province and B'Lao ward were present to examine the scene and collect information to clarify the cause of the incident.
