In July 2026, the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province issued a document to rectify operations and improve the quality of passenger service on bus routes currently operating in the area.
Mr. Tran Quang Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province said that recently the unit has received some feedback and recommendations from people about the quality of public passenger transport by bus.
Accordingly, essential information serving passengers such as operating hours, bus frequency, fares has not been updated in time; the hotline phone numbers of some routes are no longer accurate or there is no one to receive them when passengers contact.
To rectify operations and improve the quality of public passenger transport services by bus, the Department of Construction requests transport units to review, fully update, accurately and publicly post information of each route being operated.
The information to be posted includes the itinerary, operating time in the day, bus frequency, bus schedule, declared ticket price and hotline phone number.
Listing must be carried out on vehicles, at the starting point, end point, waiting house along the route and information channels of the unit; and promptly adjust when there are changes.
The Department of Construction also requested units to arrange on-duty personnel for the hotline, ensuring timely reception and handling of passenger feedback throughout the route's operation, and preventing the situation where people call but no one receives them.
In addition, units must comply with the announced traffic schedule.
In case there are changes in the operating chart or vehicles exploited on the route, the unit must have a written report to the Department of Construction for consideration and decision to adjust appropriately, ensuring the maintenance of service quality.
The Department of Construction also requested to thoroughly grasp the team of drivers and service staff on the bus to improve the spirit of responsibility, civilized and polite service attitude; ensure traffic safety, vehicle hygiene, and create maximum convenience for people to use bus services.
For the Nha Trang - Cam Ranh - Phan Rang bus route operated by Phuong Trang FUTA Bus Lines Joint Stock Company, the Department of Construction requests businesses to urgently review, inspect, and update the correct contents listed on the bus schedule, ticket prices and hotline phone numbers on the route.
At the same time, businesses must have a written report on the results of remediation sent to the Department of Construction to respond to people's recommendations.
