Accordingly, the Traffic Police Department of Cao Bang Provincial Police has just announced the temporary traffic diversion and organization at the intersection of National Highway 3 with the bypass of Cao Bang City (old name of the project) to serve the construction of the project's connecting item.
Accordingly, traffic diversion will be implemented from December 28, 2025 to the end of December 31, 2025 at the intersection connecting the Cao Bang City bypass to National Highway 3, Km271+500 (right of the route), belonging to Thuc Phan ward, Cao Bang province.
During construction, traffic vehicles need to comply with the traffic organization plan as follows:
For vehicles traveling from Hanoi (Km271+300) to Ngoc Xuan, Ta Lung border gate, travel in the left lane to Km272+00, then turn right and continue on the right lane.
For vehicles traveling from the center of Thuc Phan ward, Ta Lung border gate (Km272+00) to the center of the Mekong Delta communes, travel in the right lane.

The Traffic Police Department of Cao Bang Provincial Police requests traffic participants to strictly comply with the system of traffic signs and instructions of functional forces, reduce speed, pay attention to observation when passing through the construction area, and at the same time proactively choose appropriate routes to avoid congestion and ensure traffic safety.
The notice is issued to help people grasp information, coordinate and comply in the process of organizing traffic to serve the construction of the project.
The project was approved by the (former) Ministry of Transport in 2006, but the implementation journey was full of obstacles. For nearly 20 years, the project has had to stop construction many times due to site clearance issues at two locations, Thuc Phan and Tan Giang wards.
The road has a total length of more than 7 km; level III mountain road scale; total adjusted investment of nearly 372 billion VND invested by the Department of Construction.
Currently, many main items have achieved high volume such as: 100% foundation excavation, 100% foundation filling, 100% completion of drainage culverts and overpasses, 83.38% stone shield walls.
Contractors mobilized nearly 100 vehicles, machines, specialized equipment and more than 100 engineers and workers to construct on the construction site. As of December 21, the value of construction output reached 222 billion VND, equivalent to nearly 76.42% of the contract value.
It is known that Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee is directing the investor and contractors to soon complete the project, put the project into operation and use effectively; and accept the entire project before the Lunar New Year 2026.
