According to Lao Dong's records, in the Lao Cai ward area, from 7 pm on the 29th of the twelfth lunar month, people and tourists gathered crowdedly around Ho Chi Minh City Park area.
In the sweet cold of the border region, at exactly 9:30 pm, people clasped their hands together, their eyes looking up at the sky. Crisp explosions rang out, fireworks shone brightly, reflecting into the misty mist, creating a shimmering, magical scene.

Mr. Giang A Sua, a local resident, emotionally shared: "I only see fireworks once a year. Looking at the fireworks shining in the sky, everyone feels happy and hopes the new year will be better".
At 19/8 Square (Yen Bai ward) at 11 pm, thousands of people gathered here to watch the art program and wait for fireworks at 0 am to enter the new year.

Meanwhile, in highland areas such as Bao Thang, Luc Yen, Yen Binh, Tran Yen, Van Yen, many families brought young children and together recorded the moment of fireworks to welcome the new year.
Cheers and congratulations echoed non-stop as clusters of fireworks lit up, dispelling the cold of the highlands night.

That moment not only marks the beginning of a new year, but also carries faith and hope for an increasingly prosperous and fuller life in the highland border region.
