Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan emphasized that children are the future of the country, investing in children is investing in the sustainable development of the nation. In recent years, many policies on care, education and protection of children have been effectively implemented, creating better conditions for children to study and develop comprehensively.

Many policies such as tuition fee exemption and reduction for general education students; lunch support for boarding students; building multi-level boarding schools in border communes are being implemented to create better learning conditions for children.

This year's Action Month for Children theme clearly reflects the spirit of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on developing science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation; towards the goal of both protecting children and supporting them to develop healthily in the digital environment.

The Vice President requested all levels and sectors to continue to improve policies to protect children; strictly handle acts of violence and abuse of children; strengthen the building of a safe and healthy online environment for children. Families, schools and society need to become the three pillars accompanying children in the digital age.
