On March 28, in Tien Phuoc commune, Da Nang city, people discovered the body of a young man in Ba Khanh lagoon area, Huu Lam village, suspected of drowning. The victim was identified as V.M.T. (18 years old, residing in Huu Lam village).
According to initial information, at about 8 am on the same day, people discovered a male body floating in Ba Khanh lagoon, so they reported it to the authorities. Through verification, T. left home to play from the afternoon of March 27 but did not return. Until the next morning, her body was found in the lagoon area.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces were present at the scene, collected information, clarified the incident and handed over the body to the family for funeral arrangements.
Previously, on the afternoon of March 26, a group of 11 students from Vo Thi Sau Secondary School invited each other to stroll in the Tray stream area, Tien Phu Dong village, Tien Phuoc commune. While wading through the stream together, 3 children suddenly slipped into the deep water area, the flow was fast.
Accompanying students tried to hold hands and pull their friends ashore, but only rescued one child. Two female students, Thai Thi Ha Vy and Banh Thi My Kieu, both 15 years old, were swept away by the water and tragically died.
