On August 21, Economic - Defense Group 337 (Military Region 4) said that during the expansion of the search area for martyrs' remains in Xa Re village, Khe Sanh commune (Quang Tri province), the unit discovered an additional martyr's remains with the relic, a hand-carried aluminum card engraved with the words "SH-18-15X".
The remains were found at a depth of 0.8 - 1m, wrapped in the uterine cavity and increased to the plate, with the remains still intact. In addition to the aluminum card, the accompanying relics also include: umbrellas, umbrellas, Hammer, shoe hangers, glass pipes, foam pens, information wires...

According to the specialized agency, the area where the martyrs' remains were discovered was formerly where units of the 304 Division (2nd Corps) participated in the fight at the Khe Sanh front.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that from August 13 to 19, the Remains Collection Team of the 337th Economic - Defense Group of martyrs had recovered 4 martyrs' remains in Khe Sanh commune.
The remains were found in the coffin, along with many relics such as plaster, chard, shoe hanger, information ropes, parachute ropes, etc.

Also in Xa Re village (Khe Sanh commune) from May 19 to June 6, the above unit collected 8 martyrs' remains.
Currently, the work of expanding the search area is still continuing. The remains of the martyrs after being collected were brought to the incense and preserved at the Khe Sanh Commune spiritual and Cultural Area, waiting for the results of identity verification from the authorities.
