On the evening of October 7, speaking with Lao Dong, the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police said that the authorities had discovered a vehicle related to a traffic accident that killed 1 person on National Highway 19, which occurred at noon the same day.
"Through tracing, we found traces on the vehicle. Currently, the authorities are organizing an examination and assessment to determine whether this vehicle caused an accident or not," said the leader of the Traffic Police Department.
According to initial information, at around 11:30 a.m. the same day, on National Highway 19, Ta Giang 1 section (Binh Khe commune), a motorbike with license plate 77N2-7573 driven by Mr. Vo Van Tuan (born in 1968, residing in Chu Se commune) was traveling in the East - West direction, colliding with a tractor-trailer.
The accident caused Mr. Tuan to die on the spot, while the tractor-trailer quickly left the scene.
People at the scene said that after the collision caused the motorbike to fall onto the road, the tractor-trailer continued to move without stopping.
