On April 6, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province said that through monitoring in the media, the unit has grasped information about TikToker H.L making controversial statements related to eating bread.
Accordingly, previously, the Department of Information and Communications (old) was in charge of inviting influential people on social networks to participate in communication and spreading for provincial festivals.
Specifically, TikToker here was once invited to be an ambassador for social networks and media for a large provincial-level festival in Dak Lak in 2023.
Regarding those with inappropriate statements, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism informed that it will consider not inviting them to participate in media activities for the festival.
Previously, TikToker H.L posted a clip saying that she was out of money, so she ordered a loaf of bread for 30,000 VND. During the eating process, this girl had a slightly wrinkled expression, along with a statement that eating bread looks... very miserable.
The clip and statement were then quickly spread on social networks, causing many people to criticize and refute the female TikToker's criticism of Vietnamese banh mi - a dish loved by domestic people and international tourists.
After that, TikToker H.L hid the post and apologized to the online community. This person said that when eating bread, she only shared her personal feelings at that time, without intending to attack the bread shop or any other negative implications.
