Ha Tinh - Cam Trung Commune Police have fined a fake bus driver chasing and beating passengers on National Highway 1.

According to Cam Trung Commune Police, the unit has issued a decision to administratively fine Phan Ngoc Giam (born in 1972, residing in Thanh Sen Ward, Ha Tinh Province) VND 5,750,000 for the act of "Disturbing public order".

Previously, on August 17, Giam drove a passenger car with license plate 38B - 011.16 that impersonated a bus (same painted as a bus) running from North to South.

When the car arrived at Cam Trung commune because it discovered a male passenger using a phone to film a scene of the car running recklessly and weaving, Giam asked this person to delete the video and images.

When the passenger refused to delete the photo, driver Giam chased and beat him. However, because the passenger quickly fled, he was not beaten.

The driver's behavior was filmed and posted on Facebook, causing public outrage.

According to the police, during the work, Phan Ngoc Giam confessed honestly and admitted his violation.

In addition to being administratively sanctioned, the professional units of the Provincial Police continue to investigate and clarify the act of transporting passengers without a full license as prescribed for the Giam driver.
