Deputy Minister of Health Le Duc Luan has just signed Decision No. 2971/QD-BYT (September 19, 2025) on the transfer of public assets.
Accordingly, 575 assets of Bach Mai Hospital were transferred to medical units in Dien Bien province for management and use with a total face value according to accounting books of more than 2.1 billion VND. This decision takes effect from the date of signing.
Bach Mai Hospital replaces existing hospital beds and stainless steel bedside cabinets with rotating hand-held beds; transfers from surplus to shortage according to the standards for the use of public assets prescribed by competent authorities and individuals, the reason for the transfer is clearly stated in the decision.
Accordingly, there are 13 receiving units, assets include: Provincial General Hospital; Traditional Medicine - Rehabilitation Hospital, Lung Hospital; Mental Hospital; Center for Disease Control; Medical Centers: Muong Lay, Muong Ang, Na Sang, Thanh An, Muong Nhe, Dien Bien Dong, Tuan Giao, and Nam Po.
The Ministry of Health assigned that within 30 days, Bach Mai Hospital carry out the handover of assets; account for the reduction of assets and products according to the current accounting regime and report on asset declaration changes according to the provisions of law on management and use of public assets.
The People's Committee of Dien Bien province directs relevant medical units to receive assets. The units receiving the assets are responsible for managing and using the assets according to standards, norms and regulations of law.
