Approving the design of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway toll collection system in June

Dong Nai - The design of the toll collection system for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project is expected to be approved in June.

On May 21, according to Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction), the design of the toll collection system of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project phase 1, including items of building the intelligent transportation system (ITS), toll station, vehicle weight inspection, and operator, is expected to be approved and completed in June 2026.

Next, in July 2026, contractor selection will be completed and construction will be deployed.

Construction work is expected to be completed in November 2026 to put into operation the toll collection organization of the project synchronously connected with other projects including the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway; Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay and Long Thanh airport.

Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway is nearly 54 km long, divided into 3 component projects. From May 18, the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway has been put into operation for the entire main route of the project.
