On May 17, the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board issued a document announcing the start of organizing traffic for 16 km of component project 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway at 5:00 PM on May 18.
In the initial exploitation phase, only cars with fewer than 9 seats are allowed to move on the expressway (synchronized with component projects 2 and 3 that have been put into operation), traffic has not been organized for other types of vehicles. Temporary exploitation speed with a maximum speed of 80 km/h and a minimum speed of 60 km/h.

For traffic organization connecting residents on both sides of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway at Km4+443 (Ham Nghi road) and at Km6+154 (Phung Hung road):
The traffic plan through the Km4+443 overpass area (Ham Nghi road) is specifically as follows: All vehicles traveling in the direction from Thien Binh residential area on Ham Nghi road to National Highway 51: Move on Ham Nghi road into the parallel road on the left side of the overpass, turn left into the project's service road, continue along the route for about 0.6 km to road No. 6 (Tam Phuoc Industrial Park), then turn right to National Highway 51 and organize traffic in the opposite direction similarly.
The traffic plan through the Km6+154 overpass area (Phung Hung road) is specifically as follows: For vehicles traveling in the direction from Trang Bom on Phung Hung road to National Highway 51: Travel to Km1+600 Phung Hung road turning into road No. 3 (Tam Phuoc Industrial Park); continue traveling about 1.2 km to road No. 6 (Tam Phuoc Industrial Park), then move to National Highway 51.
With the opening of component project 1, 16 km long, the entire main route of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, about 54 km long, has been fully put into operation, shortening the travel time from the center of Dong Nai to the intersection of National Highway 56 HCMC to about 40-50 minutes.
According to the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, the organization of traffic opening is currently a temporary exploitation plan in the process of completing the project to serve the travel needs of people. To date, the main route and basic traffic safety system have been completed. However, some items such as the overpass headway, service road and auxiliary works are still being constructed and completed.
