On January 11, the People's Committee of Pleiku ward, Gia Lai province said that in the trend of developing a civilized and modern city associated with exploiting the potential of the night economy, the "Cho Nho Night Street" project implemented in the area has received the attention of a large number of people, small traders and tourists.
Currently, the project is about to be completed for operation, it is expected that "Nho Night Street" will form a comprehensive service space with cultural, entertainment, culinary and shopping activities.
Business households organize trading spaces, decorate stalls suitable to actual conditions; local authorities play a supporting role in synchronous design, ensuring environmental sanitation, security and order, and trade promotion.
The formation of night streets is expected to create a more favorable business environment for small business households, expanding opportunities to reach many customer groups, especially tourists from other provinces and cities.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity to promote typical products of Pleiku mountain town such as coffee, handicrafts and traditional cuisine.
According to the plan, the night street will be organized from Dai Doan Ket Square, extending along Phung Hung street and adjacent alleys, connecting the Hoi Phu stream area, creating a continuous tourism - cultural - culinary experience space. The expected operating time is from 6 pm to 12 pm daily.
The "Cho Nho Night Street" project is expected to become a new highlight for Pleiku tourism, contributing to spreading the image of a dynamic city with rich cultural identity in the western region of Gia Lai province, meeting the entertainment and night experience needs of people and domestic and foreign tourists.
In 2026, Gia Lai strives to achieve a minimum total number of tourists visiting 15 million times; pure tourism revenue reaches 35,000 billion VND; attracting 170 new investment projects.
The province is also making efforts to achieve the target of establishing 7,000 new businesses with a total registered capital of 50,000 billion VND.
