Nghe An Police Economic Security Department supports nearly 250 million VND for people in flooded areas

Nghe An - With the spirit of mutual love, the Economic Security Department of Nghe An Provincial Police has mobilized nearly 250 million VND to support people in flooded areas.

On August 9, information from the Economic Security Department of Nghe An Provincial Police said that it had just coordinated with businesses and benefactors to organize a working group directly to Tuong Duong commune to give gifts to people heavily affected by the historic flood at the end of July.

The prolonged heavy rain has caused many villages in Tuong Duong commune to be cut off, houses, properties, and crops to be swept away, and people's lives are in difficult circumstances.

The delegation presented 50 gifts including rice, cooking oil, fish sauce and cash to households in Cua Rao 1, Lo village, Khe Ngu, Khe Ken, Ang, Pung, Con Muong, Xieng Huong, Mon and Hoa Tay villages.

In addition, support the construction of 2 houses worth 70 million VND each for the family of Ms. Tran Thi Hoan ( Cua Tao 2 version) and Ms. Le Thi Ha (Thach Duong version) - policy households, especially difficult circumstances, whose houses have sunk or been washed away after floods.

Ms. Tran Thi Hoan expressed her emotion at the attention of the police force and benefactors, considering this a great source of encouragement for the family to overcome difficulties.

Along with support activities for people, the working delegation also presented gifts to serve the work of Tuong Duong Commune Police and 10 gifts to officers and soldiers of the commune police whose houses were affected by floods.

It is known that the entire amount of money and gifts worth nearly 250 million VND are the hearts of officers, soldiers and units and businesses to give the people in flooded areas the strength to soon stabilize their lives.

In recent days, floods and landslides in the North Central and Northern mountainous provinces have killed and left many people missing, houses, schools and maple blossoms were swept away and submerged in mud, affecting local production activities.
