On June 29th, the Phu Quoc Special Zone Enforcement Committee (An Giang province) organized the implementation of land recovery enforcement for cases of non-compliance with land recovery decisions and failure to hand over land within the deadline in Quarter 7 An Thoi, Phu Quoc Special Zone.
Accordingly, the Enforcement Committee announced 7 enforcement decisions forcing land recovery to ensure the progress of the Red Land Mixed-Use Urban Area Project. Functional forces simultaneously launched operations, organizing the definitive recovery of 4,514.5m2 of perennial crop land of households that have not complied with land recovery decisions.
To ensure that the coercion process takes place in accordance with the law, safely, objectively and in the correct order, professional departments of An Giang Provincial Police have closely coordinated with Phu Quoc Special Zone Police to develop plans and schemes to ensure security and order, assign forces to perform tasks in key areas, proactively prevent and promptly handle any arising situations.
Thanks to careful preparation, the coercion process took place safely and in accordance with legal regulations, contributing to creating a clean land fund to serve project implementation, and at the same time affirming the strictness of the law in the management and use of land and site clearance in Phu Quoc special zone.
