The 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen line project is a double-circuit 500kV line project, with a total length of 229.5 km with 468 electric pole foundation locations, constructed through 4 provinces: Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc. This project has a total investment of more than VND 7,410 billion.
Of which, the section passing through Phu Tho province is 41.16 km long, passing through 13 communes in 3 districts: Doan Hung, Thanh Ba, Phu Ninh.
Regarding the site clearance of this key project, according to information from the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, up to now, the whole province has completed site clearance of 82/9; reviewed and developed a resettlement plan for 126 affected households.
The work is still being actively implemented, however, there have been some difficulties in terms of records, related legal issues, compensation plans, resettlement...
To ensure the project's progress, Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Son suggested that the project investor continue to closely coordinate with localities and Phu Tho province in implementation.
The Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee requested the Power 1 Project Management Board to proactively coordinate closely with districts to carry out compensation, site clearance and resettlement; complete procedures and documents related to the project, direct the consulting unit to urgently complete the handover of documents on the route corridor so that the District People's Committees have a basis to serve the counting and compensation work.
Phu Tho province committed to handing over the pillar foundation before March 31, 2025, the route corridor will ensure progress according to plan.
According to research, the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV Line project through Doan Hung district has a total length of 22.82 km, passing through 8 communes: Bang Luan, Phu Lam, Phuc Lai, Tay Coc, Ngoc Quan, Yen Kien, Tieu Son and Minh Tien; including 48 pole foundation locations, reclaiming 4.9 hectares of land, 57 affected households expected to be resettled.
For Thanh Ba district, the 5.84 km long section, passing through 2 communes, Dai An and Quang Yen; including 17 pillar foundations, reclaiming 2.67 hectares of land, 32 affected households are expected to be resettled.
For Phu Ninh district, the 12.5 km long route, passing through 5 communes: Tram Than, Lien Hoa, Le My, Trung Giap and Tri Quan; including 30 pillar foundations, reclaiming 3.07 hectares of land, 13 affected households are expected to be resettled.
At the groundbreaking ceremony of the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV Line project held in Vinh Phuc on March 16, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang launched an emulation movement to complete this key project.
With the participation of investors and local authorities, lessons from the success of the 500kV line 3 Quang Trach - Pho Noi show that one of the decisive roles in project progress and quality is the spirit of determination and hard work of a large number of workers and laborers.
