As the owner of the facility receiving necessities at 86 Duy Tan (Tuy Hoa City), Ms. Nguyen Hai Chau (born in 1988) - shared: This morning, there was a truck carrying goods and necessities going to the North to support people in the storm and flood areas. It is expected that tomorrow (September 12), there will be another trip. Hopefully, the small gifts can help people overcome difficulties. The Central region is always with everyone.
Vo Thuy Hang (born in 1998, residing in Tuy Hoa City) - said that in the past few days, seeing the devastation in the northern provinces caused by storms and floods, Hang could only pray for the disaster to pass quickly.
"Following the news, I see the number of casualties and missing people due to the storm and flood continuously increasing, and I feel so heartbroken. I hope the storm and flood will pass soon and my small gift can help share some of the difficulties that people in the North are suffering," Hang expressed.
It is known that the necessities donated by Phu Yen people will be transported to Phu Tho and Tuyen Quang provinces to provide relief to people.
The reception facility at 86 Duy Tan (Tuy Hoa City) only accepts necessities such as: Rice, water, bread, milk, medicine... and does not accept donations.
Kien Giang launches campaign to support people affected by storm
In addition to mobilizing contributions of one day's salary, Kien Giang province has registered to donate 2 billion VND from the budget to people affected by storm No. 3.
On September 11, the People's Committee of Kien Giang province held a meeting to mobilize and support people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi).
Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors (under the Provincial People's Committee) located in Rach Gia city; colleges, state-owned enterprises and civil servants, public employees and employees of the Provincial People's Committee Office.
At the campaign launch, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang Province Lam Minh Thanh emphasized that localities affected by storm No. 3 are in dire need of help and support from all levels, sectors, provinces, cities and the whole society.
Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee calls on individuals, departments, branches, and businesses living and working in Kien Giang province to voluntarily join hands to contribute, spread the spirit of responsibility, share, and overcome the consequences caused by natural disasters. Contribute with the Party and State to quickly restore production and the lives of people in the northern provinces and cities.
In addition to mobilizing cadres, civil servants, public employees, soldiers of the armed forces, and those who receive salaries from the state budget to contribute one day's salary each, Kien Giang province has registered with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support 2 billion VND from the budget for people in the northern localities affected by storm No. 3.
