On the afternoon of December 10, O Cho Dua ward (Hanoi) had information about the site clearance progress for the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section through the ward.
Accordingly, by the evening of December 9, O Cho Dua ward had completed 100% of site clearance work to serve the project.
According to statistics, in O Cho Dua ward, there are 591 approved compensation, support and resettlement plans; the site has been handed over: 586/591 plans (an increase of 410 plans compared to the time of handover from July 15, 2025), reaching 99.2% of the work volume to be done; there are 5/591 plans that have not yet handed over the site due to not signing a house purchase contract and receiving a resettlement house by the late payment method with an interest rate of 0 VND from the Ministry of National Defense's Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation. All households agreed to support the project and committed to handing over the land when receiving resettlement houses to move around.
Previously, the People's Committee of O Cho Dua Ward established a Board for the implementation of land acquisition enforcement and strengthened the mobilization, propaganda and persuasion work so that households can hand over the site to the investor to implement the project, ensuring compliance with the direction of the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee to complete the site clearance before December 15.
In response to the urgent need for progress, O Cho Dua ward has mobilized the entire political system, focusing on propaganda, mobilization, and dialogue.
The Land Acquisition Enforcement Board organizes many direct meetings with each household, explains policies, resolves arising difficulties, and coordinates with departments and branches to support procedures related to resettlement housing funds.
After the process of mobilizing, persuading and dialogue, by December 8, 22 households had not yet handed over the site. Of which, 4 households receiving temporary houses handed over are stuck in contract signing procedures, 6 households have decided to sell houses with late payment but have not signed contracts with the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation of the Ministry of National Defense to receive resettlement houses and 12 households have not yet handed over the site.
On December 9, the People's Committee of the ward continued to organize a dialogue, mobilize and persuade 12 households whose land was recovered to have a decision to enforce land recovery to explain the legal basis, compensation, support and resettlement policies, and at the same time, inform households about social housing policies approved by the City People's Committee. On the other hand, the Ward People's Committee continues to encourage households to hand over the site to the investor to implement the project.
By the evening of December 9, all remaining 22 households had agreed to hand over the site.
In Giang Vo ward, the site clearance work for the Ring Road 1 project is basically completed. The ward is actively mobilizing and propagating the case of finally handing over the site for the project.
In Lang ward, the number of households that have not agreed to hand over the land is still large. The government is also organizing mobilization and dialogue. In case of non-compliance, the authorities will carry out compulsory land recovery according to regulations.
