At 7:30 a.m., people were large at the Di An Ward Public Administration Center to carry out procedures such as document documents, business registration, residence settlement, etc. However, thanks to careful preparation and reasonable arrangement, the process of handling documents went quite smoothly.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (residing in Di An ward) went to the Public Administration Center to submit a business registration application. At first, seeing the large number of people coming to do the procedures, he was worried that he would have to wait a long time. However, things went more smoothly than he thought.
"I was instructed by the staff to register my digital signature, then a staff member directly supported me to enter the application into the system. When completed, I just need to go to the counter with the residence address to receive the business license sent by post" - Mr. Hung said.
According to Mr. Hung, the entire process took place quickly and neatly thanks to the scientific organization and enthusiastic support of local officials.
At first I thought it would be very annoying, but I was really surprised by the way it worked here. Everyone is clearly guided step by step, the staff are enthusiastic and proactive in supporting. I feel that the new ward apparatus operates very effectively and professionally" - Mr. Hung shared.
Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh (residing in Di An ward) said that she had some personal documents and was very surprised that the procedures were handled quickly.
It only took me 15 minutes to get through. The staff here work very enthusiastically, provide detailed instructions and handle quickly. Seeing everyone is enthusiastic and passionate about serving the people" - Ms. Anh shared.
Previously, at 7:00 a.m., Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc inspected the operations of the Di An Ward Public Administration Service Center.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc affirmed that choosing Di An was the first place to inspect the operation because it is a large industrial center, a leader in administrative reform and investment attraction. The city highly appreciates the potential and role of this area.
Through on-site inspection, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee noted that Di An ward had prepared well in terms of personnel, equipment and the spirit of serving the people on the first day of operation.
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - Chairman of Di An Ward People's Committee - said that the new Di An ward was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Di An, An Binh wards and part of Tan Dong Hiep ward.
With a population of more than 227,800 people, Di An ward is the ward with the largest population among 168 commune-level administrative units in the new Ho Chi Minh City.
In terms of personnel, the whole ward has 168 cadres, civil servants and public employees. The Di An Ward Public Administration Service Center has a total floor area of over 810 m2, deploying 17 officers to directly process documents and 3 volunteers to support people in performing online procedures.
The facilities including tables and chairs, technological equipment, and internet connection are all fully equipped. However, Ms. Thuy suggested that the city should soon advance funds to upgrade the transmission line to meet the increasing demand for processing documents.
