According to Lao Dong at the Public Administration Service Center of Thu Duc Ward People's Committee (HCMC), on the first day of operating the new model, people coming to do procedures were very surprised when there were robots to support administrative procedures.
When she first set foot in the Thu Duc Ward Public Administration Service Center, the first thing that impressed Ms. Pham Do Bao Ngan was the appearance of a robot guide. "I see robots moving around to serve people, the new ward's way of doing things is very creative," Ms. Ngan excitedly shared. She also expressed her hope that the application of technology will help administrative procedures be resolved more quickly.
Ms. Cu Thoai Vy, Deputy Director of the Thu Duc Ward Public Administration Service Center, shared that to create maximum convenience for people, Thu Duc Ward has boldly applied technology to the service process. The center is fully equipped with machinery and equipment, and each counter has a kiosk to assess the satisfaction of the people. In particular, two robots were deployed to support right from the main gate.
Ms. Cu Thoai Vy described the detailed process: "When the people enter, the robot will greet and then take the people to the area to get the number. After getting the number, the robot will only show people to each stall, according to the administrative procedures that people carry out". In addition, the robot body also has water bottles arranged to serve people. The robot also has friendly interactions with people when there is a slight collision, creating a comfortable and exciting atmosphere for people when coming to do transactions.

Ms. Vy added that robot tolerance helps reduce the workload so that cadres and civil servants can focus on their expertise in serving the people. This contributes to streamlining the process and improving the quality of public administrative services, said Ms. Vy.
