On May 8, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Thanh Xuan Ward People's Committee said that, up to now, the ward has completed the payment of compensation for 340/472 cases in the land acquisition area for Ring Road 2.5 (reaching a rate of nearly 75%).
Previously, to ensure progress, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council established 4 payment teams, organizing the receipt of people's registrations before 8 pm every day, thereby arranging payments on the same day, minimizing waiting.
At the payment session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Oanh (Chinh Kinh street) - one of the households subject to site clearance, shared her biggest wish is to soon receive resettlement land to stabilize her life. When there is land, the family will be more assured to calculate long-term business.
The payment process takes place very quickly. We are also ready to coordinate to ensure that the government implements it on schedule" - Ms. Oanh affirmed.
Mr. Do Dinh Binh (Cu Loc 2 street) said that when receiving compensation money, not only his family but also most people in the area were very excited. Everyone wanted to receive the money soon to hand over the site for the project on schedule.

Regarding the progress of site clearance, it is expected that by May 11, the ward will hand over about 2.3/3.91ha of clean land to Hanoi City.
Thanh Xuan Ward is mobilizing all forces to strive to achieve the progress of handing over clean ground before May 15.
In order to ensure continuity and efficiency in field work, working groups are being maintained on duty in the area, ready to listen to and promptly remove arising problems related to procedures as well as the rights of households in the relocation area.
The dismantling work is carried out according to the motto "do as far as possible, be sure as possible; hand over as far as possible, dismantle as far as possible; dismantle as far as possible, hand over clean ground as possible" to ensure overall progress.
With narrow demolition ground, in small, deep alleys, functional forces quickly opened roads to bring demolition machinery and transport vehicles to access the works, ensuring progress according to the city's direction.

Ring Road 2.5 section passing through Thanh Xuan ward is nearly 1km long, with a cross-section of about 50m, with a land area to be recovered of more than 39,000m2. The road passes through a densely populated residential area, involving 472 land plots and about 700 households.
