Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Vinh Hung Ward Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board (Hanoi) said that the site clearance work for the Linh Nam road upgrade and expansion project through the ward has recorded positive results to date.
To implement the project, Vinh Hung ward authorities must recover land from 253 households, individuals and 10 organizations.
Determining that site clearance for the Linh Nam road expansion project is an important political task, Vinh Hung ward has focused on leading and directing professional departments and divisions to be determined to complete land acquisition and site clearance to implement the project on schedule.
Thanks to doing a good job of propaganda, mobilization, and dialogue, the majority of organizations, households, and individuals have signed land handover minutes.
Currently, only one household in the project area through Vinh Hung ward has not agreed to hand over the land.
This household is dismantling the project, but has not signed the land handover minutes" - representative of the Vinh Hung Ward Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board said.
Local authorities are still maintaining propaganda, mobilization, and dialogue to get people's consensus to hand over land for the project.
Organizing coercion will be the last resort in case people intentionally do not comply.
The Linh Nam road upgrade and expansion project has a total length of about 3.4km, starting point at Tam Trinh road intersection, ending point at Nguyen Khoai dike intersection.
The total area of land recovered for project implementation is about 98,345.94 m2, related to about 793 households, individuals and 34 organizations in 5 wards.
In Vinh Hung ward, the length of the route is about 2.2km (odd rows), of which about 1.9km coincides with the Ring Road 2.5 project (section from Vinh Hung street to Ring Road 3 intersection).
Regarding construction work, a representative of the Vinh Hung Ward Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board said that the contractor is currently organizing simultaneous construction of 4 sites that have been cleared.
Construction site No. 1 from Nguyen Khoai slope to Ring Road 3 is about 200m long and will be completed in March.
Construction site No. 2 (Long Thuyen market area) with a length of 100m, 50m of piles have been pressed, drainage culverts and tunnels are being dug and placed.
Construction site No. 3 (No. 419 Linh Nam street) is 150m long, has completed the D1000 rainwater drainage culvert, the D300 wastewater drainage culvert is 100m long, and tunnels are under construction.
Construction site No. 4 from house number 87-93 Linh Nam (in front of the textile factory) is 400m long, 200m of drainage ditch has been built on the sidewalk, and drainage ditch construction is continuing.
The item of moving underground works is still under construction. The item of cutting down and moving green trees has been completed.
