The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section is one of the key projects of Hanoi city. According to the direction of the City Party Committee, site clearance work for the project must be completed before June 30, 2026.
The project passing through Phu Nghia commune has a length of 7.8km.
Implementing the site clearance process, the Commune People's Committee has notified land acquisition, coordinated with the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to organize inventory, prepare and publicly list the draft compensation plan according to regulations; and at the same time sent the draft plan to each household.
Up to now, the commune has handed over more than 22ha of land. In particular, in the past time, in the commune, there have been more than 400 households and individuals who voluntarily handed over land and self-dismantled works, houses, and eateries on land within the land clearance scope to implement the project.
In which, in the old Dong Phuong Yen commune, 52 households and individuals have handed over the site to the construction unit from the pagoda gate area, Dong Tau area, Doi 3 village to Doi 2 village. However, more than 30 households in Doi 1 village have not agreed to hand over the site.
On March 25, Phu Nghia Commune People's Committee organized a dialogue conference to listen to the opinions, thoughts, and aspirations of households, as a basis for developing support and compensation plans to ensure compliance with the provisions of law and ensure the best rights for households whose land is recovered.
At the dialogue conference, representatives of households in Doi 1 village expressed 12 opinions.
The opinions all agreed and supported the policy of the State and Hanoi city to implement the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section.
However, households requested functional sectors to clarify some contents related to the administrative boundaries of the project, conditions for resettlement arrangement, support policies for works and houses built on residential land and vacant land, consider land compensation according to the origin to ensure people's rights, land compensation prices, support mechanisms for households implementing demolition of works and handing over land...
At the dialogue conference, Deputy Head of Phu Nghia Commune Economic Department Nguyen Nhu Van and Mr. Le Minh Khoi - Deputy Head of Site Clearance Board - Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board received the opinions of representatives of households in Doi 1 village and answered clearly each content proposed by the households.
At the same time, fully record the opinions and recommendations of the people to serve as a basis for the process of drafting compensation and support plans to ensure the best rights for the people.

Mr. Trinh Tien Tuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Nghia commune affirmed that the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6 is a key project of the city.
Therefore, in the process of organizing the implementation of site clearance work within the project scope, the Party Committee, government, and functional sectors of the commune implemented it in accordance with the law, ensuring publicity, transparency, and democracy.
Going into specific contents, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Nghia commune further clarified the contents of route adjustment, vacant land, resettlement area, compensation prices according to the city's general regulations...
In the coming time, in order for the National Highway 6 expansion project to be completed soon, the commune Party Committee and government really hope that households will support functional sectors in developing support, compensation, and resettlement plans in accordance with the law.
