However, when the inspection team arrived, the Aroma Beach restaurant had all three doors closed. The inspection team knocked on the door, called and asked for assistance from the local police. However, after nearly an hour, the restaurant owner still did not open the door.

The inspection team made a record in the presence of local authorities, residential groups, and local police.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Anh Minh - Head of the Finance and Planning Department of Nha Trang City, Head of the interdisciplinary inspection team informed: "Following the direction of the Chairman of the City People's Committee, the interdisciplinary team conducted a surprise inspection of the restaurant that customers complained about selling at high prices. We invited local authorities and representatives of departments to participate in the inspection.

However, at the time of inspection, we did not receive cooperation from the homeowner and the restaurant owner was not present. Therefore, we have recorded the incident and will report it to the Chairman of the City People's Committee. At the same time, we will recommend further administrative measures for handling."

According to Mr. Minh, "it doesn't say anything yet. When there is enough basis, Nha Trang City will resolutely handle any violations, if any."

Previously, as Lao Dong reported, on the afternoon of February 4, on the page "Nha Trang - Review everything" an article by author M.H and a picture of the restaurant Aroma Beach charging sky-high prices to foreign customers were spread.

According to author M.H, when surfing the Chinese website, he saw customers complaining about a "black" restaurant in Nha Trang with bills and pictures of the restaurant.

According to the bill the tourist submitted on the evening of February 3, the price of grilled eggplant with scallion oil was more than 1.8 million VND, 2 balut eggs cost 700,000 VND, 2 stir-fried water spinach with garlic cost 1 million VND... The total bill was more than 20 million VND, including more than 4 million VND in surcharges.

The restaurant owner, Mr. Ho Van Tam, confirmed that the bill that the customer presented was from the restaurant. However, Mr. Tam explained, "The group of guests ordered a meal for 15 to 20 people, so the money was generous. The amount on the bill compared to the actual amount the restaurant received was only half."

The surcharge is for alcohol, cigarettes, beer and tea brought into the shop by customers and is negotiated by both parties from the beginning.

After the incident spread online until the morning of February 5, all signs of Aroma Beach were suddenly removed. It is known that this restaurant was rented by Mr. Ho Van Tam for business.
