Over the past 3 days, the Military Region 5 Command has mobilized 6,185 people and 19 specialized vehicles, coordinating with units of the Ministry of National Defense to support Da Nang and Quang Ngai.
The total rescue force in the two localities is 7,829 people, along with 73 cars, 8 specialized vehicles, 30 canoes, boats of all kinds and UAVs and flycams to serve the monitoring and release of necessities to isolated areas.
At landslides such as Tra Leng (Nam Tra My), the 270th Engineering Brigade urgently opened a rescue route. Despite heavy rain, nh nh nh, and many areas being dug deep and subsided, officers and soldiers still steadfastly stuck to the scene. In the first step alone, they have repaired 5 major landslides, cleared roads to residential areas and boarding schools.
Amidst the white rain, landslides, rising floodwaters, and cutting the route to Tra My, the soldiers of Information 575, Military Region 5 still quietly crossed the slope, bang the forest, stayed in vulnerable places, and restored the broken blood vessel.
