The Inspection Committee of Ba Don Town Party Committee concluded that Mr. Cao Xuan Ngoc violated Directive No. 20, dated February 28, 2022 of the Standing Committee of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, and violated the working regulations of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Quang Hai commune.
Mr. Cao Xuan Ngoc's violations have caused bad public opinion, affecting the reputation of the Party organization and Mr. Cao Xuan Ngoc personally.
The Inspection Committee of Ba Don City Party Committee has decided to discipline Mr. Cao Xuan Ngoc with a reprimand.
Previously, the Inspection Committee of Ba Don City Party Committee received a complaint that Mr. Ngoc showed signs of moral and lifestyle degradation.
A photo appeared on Facebook, believed to be of Mr. Cao Xuan Ngoc - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Hai commune - leaving a motel.
The image quickly spread on social networks, causing a wave of controversy and stirring up local public opinion.
Speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Cao Xuan Ngoc - Chairman of Quang Hai Commune People's Committee - admitted that he was the one who left Song Hai motel.
Mr. Ngoc explained that at that time - around 3:30 p.m. on October 7 or 8 (during office hours), after asking the Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee to take his mother to the hospital for a medical examination, he called his younger brother who was working on a construction project in Quang Hai Commune. The call was to encourage this person to complete the project in the area because the flood season had arrived.
“After that, this person said he was drunk and was at Song Hai motel. I went to persuade him to take his younger brother home but he refused. I got in the car and went home first, and his younger brother followed,” said Mr. Ngoc.
