Throwing fishing rope into electric wire, man electrocuted causing severe burns

Lam Dong - A man threw a fishing line and was electrocuted, causing severe burns while fishing.

The rare incident occurred on the afternoon of November 13 at a fishing pond in Phu Sum village, Tuyen Quang commune, Lam Dong province. At that time, Mr. Ong T.V.H (born in 1972) brought a fishing rod.

While fishing, the wire got caught in a nearby power line. The consequences of the electrocution caused Mr. H to be electrocuted and suffer severe burns all over his body.

People called an ambulance to take the victim to Binh Thuan General Hospital for emergency care.

The incident is a warning bell, advising people when standing and working near power lines to be extremely careful and prevent unfortunate accidents from occurring.
