Bringing "Forest - Sea - Island" tourism to sustainable development
On June 27, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province said that according to the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee just issued, by 2030, Quang Ngai strives to become a unique tourist destination.
According to the set target, the province will welcome about 10 million visitors, including 550,000 international visitors; tourism revenue will reach about 7,400 billion VND, contributing 5% of the province's GRDP.
The locality also aims to create jobs for about 21,000 workers through tourism activities and attract investment in at least 5 4-5 star standard tourism projects.
My Khe, Mang Den tourist areas and Ly Son special zone are oriented to develop into national and regional-level tourism centers.
By 2035, Quang Ngai aims to welcome 16 million visitors, including 1 million international visitors; revenue reaches 11,840 billion VND, contributing 7.5% of GRDP and creating jobs for about 30,000 workers.

To realize these goals, the province will focus on completing the detailed planning of key tourist areas such as Dung Quat - Sa Huynh, Ly Son and Thach Bich - Nui Chua.
Connecting infrastructure and investing in unique products
Along with that, Quang Ngai prioritizes investing in inter-regional connecting transport infrastructure, including the Kon Tum - Quang Ngai expressway, National Highway 1, coastal roads and other national highways; and upgrading electricity, water and waste treatment systems.
The province also encourages investment in event centers, commercial services, night economy and golf courses.
Functional sectors, businesses and people will focus on improving service quality and diversifying tourism products.
In which, the province prioritizes developing sea and island tourism products such as swimming, diving, water sports and high-class resorts; associated with exploiting heritage values such as the Hoang Sa Soldiers' Offering Ceremony and Sa Huynh culture.
At the same time, develop community tourism, agricultural tourism, forest ecotourism; effectively exploit cultural, historical, and spiritual values; restore relics, promote the cultural values of Sa Huynh and Lung Leng, gradually form caravan tourism routes and develop the night economy.
