This is one of the notable contents presented by the Executive Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee at the 55th Conference on September 17 to give opinions and policies on a number of contents to be submitted to the 21st Session of the 14th Provincial People's Council under the authority of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
Specific mechanisms and policies to overcome damage, stabilize life and restore production and business activities after storm No. 3, including: Policy to raise social assistance standards for social protection beneficiaries and disadvantaged groups; policy to exempt and reduce tuition fees for preschool children, primary school students, and continuing education students studying at educational institutions in the province in the 2024-2025 school year; policy to partially support the cost of salvaging watercraft registered in Quang Ninh province that sank due to storm No. 3 and policy to support housing damage due to storm No. 3.
Concluding the conference, Ms. Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee to fully absorb opinions to complete the reports and submissions at the meeting to ensure progress and quality of the contents.
Assign the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation to direct the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council committees to thoroughly examine the contents to ensure compliance with legal procedures on the principle of ensuring transparency, suitability with reality and feasibility. At the same time, it is also necessary to ensure thrift, combat waste, corruption, negativity, group interests, and policy profiteering.
During the time of submitting the resolutions to the Provincial People's Council for promulgation, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee directed the Provincial People's Committee to direct the relevant agencies to study the documents guiding the process, procedures and documents to enjoy the support policies. The highest goal is to ensure that the resolutions, after being promulgated, will immediately come into life.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee also emphasized that these are only initial mechanisms and policies. During the implementation process, if any problems, difficulties or additional policies are needed, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee will direct the relevant agencies to continue to advise and report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee for comments. At the same time, continue to research and advise competent authorities to issue policies to support the recovery of production and business for enterprises, organizations and households in the province.
The 21st session - an extraordinary session of the 14th term Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council will take place on September 23, 2024. The session is held to review and decide on many important contents.
