According to the Resolution on adjusting, supplementing and allocating the provincial budget capital investment plan in 2025; Supplementing the mechanisms and measures to manage the local budget in 2025, has just been approved by the People's Council (People's Council) of Quang Ninh Province, the People's Council of Quang Ninh Province assigned the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province to allocate funding to support the construction of three community cultural houses on the islands of the Spratly Islands from the remaining sources of the remaining allocation of 2025.
The estimated cost of supporting the construction of these 3 community cultural houses is 33 billion VND.
Earlier, on 9.4.2025, the Standing Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee issued Notice No. 1537-TB/TU on the organization of the provincial delegation to visit Truong Sa island district, DK1 rig in 2025, of which the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee directed the provincial People's Committee to consider supporting the funding to build community cultural houses in Truong Sa at the request of the Navy Command from the budget and other legal resources.
At the request of the Political Department, the Navy, the support of building a community cultural house in Truong Sa is to contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life for the army and people of Truong Sa island district, DK1 rig and a fulcrum for fishermen to reach out, cling to the sea, fishing, affirming the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the country.
From April 13 to 19, 2025, the delegation of leaders of Quang Ninh province with 39 members participated in the 9th Working Group led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong - Political Commissar of the Navy - during a visit to Truong Sa island district and DK1 platform.
During the visit to the islands, the Quang Ninh delegation also met, visited, and presented gifts of encouragement to officers and soldiers who are children of their hometown Quang Ninh who are working on the islands of Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 Shipbuilding House.
