Over 10 billion VND to support Truong Sa
The working group also included 60 leaders of the Labor Federations of provinces and cities across the country. The working group visited cadres, soldiers, people and union members and workers (DV, NLD) working on 7 islands in Truong Sa and the DK1 booth. Here, the working group organized cultural and artistic exchanges and presented practical gifts to officers, soldiers, union members, employees and people on the islands.
Representing the heart of the DV, employees across the country towards Truong Sa, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan has awarded 5 billion dong to support the troops and people of Truong Sa district; Awarded nearly 5 billion dong to support repair of Xa Xa commune, Gemini Tay island. The VGCL has also awarded VND 500 million to support the necessities to the island district's militia.
According to the leader of the VGCL, in recent years, the Trade Union organization has launched many activities towards the beloved Spratly. In particular, the most bold imprint is the program "Love of Hoang Sa - Truong Sa", "The gratitude net" was launched by the Socialist Fund of the Golden Heart. Thereby, promptly support the islands and fishermen to overcome difficulties. Particularly in 2024, the VGCL awarded 2 CQ canoes, 2 trade union vegetable gardens worth nearly 11 billion dong. With the consensus of union members and employees throughout the country, the Trade Union organization has devoted a lot of resources to accompany and join hands to build Tien Tieu island district of the country.
Warm affection between Truong Sa military and civil servants and union officials
During the 7-day journey to Truong Sa, many union officials were very moved when they traveled the stormy journey for the first time to the islands.
Mr. Vo Ry - Chairman of Binh Tri Thien Railway Joint Stock Company is the oldest trade union official to join the mission, shared: “I look forward to touching Truong Sa once, because with what is seen, heard the difficulties, the hard -working and even blood in the sea of the country of the country has made me admire. Bringing the feelings of the mainland to the people of Truong Sa island district, on this occasion, the delegation devoted many cultural and artistic exchange programs and interacting with officials and soldiers on the islands. Not only is the journey to overcome the storms to come to the Rooster Islands of the Fatherland but also the journey of the heart, of the sacred affection that the representative of the working class and trade union always for Truong Sa.
Witnessing the fighting spirit and labor of officers, soldiers and people on the islands, each union officer sees the responsibility as a solid support from the mainland to build Truong Sa to develop strongly.
