On September 18, Quang Tri Provincial Police held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Hai An Commune Police Headquarters, Hai Lang District, Quang Tri Province.
Also on this occasion, Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai - Director of Quang Tri Provincial Police Department issued an order to simultaneously start construction of 40 commune police headquarters.
40 commune police headquarters were built in 8 districts and towns across the province with funding provided by the Ministry of Public Security.
It is known that in Quang Tri province, many commune police units do not have their own headquarters. Since the beginning of 2024, the leaders of Quang Tri Provincial Police have focused on directing functional units to advise, coordinate with departments, branches and local authorities to speed up the progress of surveying, planning and arranging land funds. From there, it has proposed that the provincial leaders and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security provide funding to build working headquarters and provide necessary means, professional equipment and support tools.
Up to now, the People's Council of Quang Tri province and the Ministry of Public Security have allocated funds to build 65 working offices for commune police throughout the province.
