The Ky Ninh Sea Tourism Area Square Project, part of the Ky Ninh Sea Urban Area Project, started construction in January 2023. The square has a total area of over 49,000m2 invested by the Ky Anh Town Construction Project Management Board, with a construction estimated cost of over 55 billion VND.

The enterprise constructing this project is a joint venture between Truong Thanh Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company and 68 Ha Tinh Construction Joint Stock Company.
The project will be handed over to serve the sea tourism season in April 2024. However, less than a year after being put into use, some items of the project showed signs of deterioration.
Some locations in the stone yard area, the steps up and down in the square are cracked and peeling. The volleyball court campus next to the square, the layers of stone are temporarily paved on the sand. Many trees wither after being planted, and their branches break and fall.
Mr. Hoang Trung Thong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Ninh Ward - said: The sea area during the rainy season is often hit by strong waves, so the stone paving system in the Ky Ninh sea square area is cracked and peeling.
According to Mr. Thong, the locality will propose to the town's Project Management Board to request the contractor to promptly repair and fix it, ensure synchronous infrastructure, serve the sea tourism season, and attract tourists.
A leader of the Ky Anh Town Construction Project Management Board said that the Ky Ninh Sea Tourism Area Square project has not expired the warranty period, so the construction unit will have to repair it. The Board will contact the construction unit to promptly repair the damage and deterioration of the project.
