In the afternoon of August 27, National Highway 4G section passing Tram Co slope, Na Vien village, Chieng Mai commune, Son La province continued to be blocked due to landslides.
At about 5:45 PM, at Km20+200, about 200m3 of soil and rock from the embankment spilled onto the road surface, making it impossible for vehicles to pass through the area.
Notably, this is the location where functional forces just organized to overcome the landslide point that occurred on August 26. However, by the afternoon of August 27, soil and rocks from the taluy continued to landslide down, causing traffic congestion again.

Immediately after the incident occurred, Traffic Department 1 of Son La Transport Management and Construction Joint Stock Company I mobilized manpower and machinery to the scene to deploy soil and rock leveling.
Functional units expect to basically complete the repair and reopen traffic by about 10 pm - 11 pm on August 27.
During the handling period, people are advised to proactively choose a suitable route, not trying to pass through the landslide area.
