The 66th National Marathon and Long-distance Championship of Tien Phong Newspaper - 2025 will start from March 28 to March 30, in Quang Tri, a land rich in historical and cultural traditions, with many humane activities: Offering incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Truong Son Cemetery, Road 9 Cemetery, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel; Flower- releasing ceremony on the side of Thach Han River; The National Flag-raising Ceremony on the banks of Hien Luong - Ben Hai with a 250m2 large canopy expressing the strength of solidarity and national pride; Presenting gratitude houses in Quang Tri province...
Through accompanying this year's Tien Phong Marathon, SABECO is proud to contribute to honoring the historic victory of the nation, demonstrating its commitment to promoting culture, tourism and promoting the local economy where the enterprise operates in production and business, while realizing other ESG commitments of SABECO to actively contribute to society.
For SABECO, 2025 is also a year marking the 150th anniversary of the development journey of the Saigon Beer brand - the predecessor of SABECO.
This year's Tien Phong Marathon attracted more than 7,000 professional and amateur athletes and will compete in distances of 21.1km; 42.195km for professional men/women and amateur; 10km for professional men, young men, men, women; 5km for professional women, young women and men, women.
Among them, many Vietnamese national players such as Nguyen Thi Oanh, Nguyen Van Lai, Hoang Nguyen Thanh, Hoang Thi Ngoc Hoa, Nguyen Trung Cuong... also participated in the competition.

Not stopping at sponsorship roles, SABECO also focuses on supporting community sports development initiatives through the Saigon Cup 7-a-side football tournament (VPL), the project "Enhancing Sports" and the initiative "Sports Hub - Connecting Vietnamese spirit".
Starting the initiative strategy, SABECO coordinated with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Bank Delegation to implement the project "Enhancing The Thao Steps" to invest in upgrading 30 community sports fields in 30 provinces and cities. After 3 years (2022-2024), people in the localities now have a place to play sports, exercise and community activities.
From the success of the project, by the end of 2024, SABECO will deploy the initiative "Sports Hub - Connecting Vietnamese spirit" in 36 provinces and cities across the country. Originating from the original idea of creating living habits and sports training for local people within the framework of the "Sports Enhancement" project, SABECO Sports Hub not only aims to promote a balanced and dynamic lifestyle in the community, but is also an opportunity for the community to exchange and connect through sports games and cultural activities. Thereby, the community will be more connected, together towards common development goals.
