The program also created strong impressions not only with a series of lively community-building activities imbued with traditional Spring culture, but also with Tet gifts carrying the message of wishing a meaningful Spring to workers, fishermen and border guards across the country.
Tet is a time to gather and reunite with loved ones, sharing many stories of the past and upcoming plans. SABECO's efforts to open a "common Tet" full of joy this Tet season through the journey "63 Connections - 1 Tet Sum Vay" continue to extend the company's persistent commitments in the goal of connecting people, building sustainable local communities and conveying valuable cultural beauty during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.
Join hands to create a happy Tet
On January 24, in Hanoi, the event “63 Connections - 1 Happy Tet” was held with Spring entertainment activities for the community and 300 more Tet gifts for workers. The event also concluded the series of community activities “63 Connections - 1 Happy Tet” initiated by SABECO.
Understanding that anyone, regardless of their position, is an indispensable piece to create a complete "Common Tet", this year, the program "63 Connections - 1 Sum Vay Tet" is aimed at those who have made important contributions to the economy and national sovereignty. The gifts are both practical support for the upcoming Tet season and spiritual encouragement for all people to celebrate Tet happily, warmly, feel secure in their attachment, and actively work and produce in the new year.
In addition to practical gifts, the community is also reminded of traditional values and beautiful customs of Tet with experience areas such as asking for the first words of the year, rolling giant dice, or "Touching the first luck of the year" - where players interact with the touch screen to immediately receive gifts and Tet wishes from SABECO. The activity both increases the atmosphere of welcoming the spring, helping to spread the joy of Tet to everyone across the country.

The special feature of this year's "63 Connections - 1 Happy Tet" journey lies in the joint efforts and contributions of the leadership and staff of Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation (SABECO) and its subsidiaries throughout the system, with the close coordination of the youth union, local authorities, and the Border Guard Command. The joint efforts to create a complete "Happy Tet" have added more profound meaning to the journey.
Ms. Dinh My Tien - SABECO employee shared: "This is the second year I have joined the company to bring Tet to everyone. The program is not only an activity for SABECO to spread the spirit of mutual love, but I myself have also learned many meaningful things through the moments of wrapping gifts and seeing the smiles on the faces of the people receiving the gifts."
As of January 24, the events have been widely spread on social media platforms with hundreds of posts, more than 94,000 interactions and 34 million video views, along with hundreds of shares from a wide range of users. Notably, more than 300 SABECO employees have volunteered to participate in gift giving events for workers - as a way to show their care and connection with the local people. These impressive numbers have affirmed the "attraction" and ability to spread the initiative "63 Connections - 1 Happy Tet".
Connecting communities with positive values
As an indispensable part of the commitment to accompany the Vietnamese community, SABECO's community programs during Tet have been maintained by the company for many years. It is estimated that the total value of support has reached more than 48 billion VND, contributing to spreading a happy and warm Tet to more than 34,000 beneficiaries.

Not only showing gratitude and spreading the positive values of Tet, the persistent efforts of businesses also contribute to promoting community cohesion, creating a foundation for sustainable development. Thousands of wishes from the "New Year's Eve Touch" activity have been widely shared on the social networking sites of participants, creating a vibrant Tet atmosphere across the country. Meaningful moments from the program have also created a widespread influence and attracted attention and support on online platforms. Specifically, nearly 20 local news sites and community pages on social networks have shared information about the program "63 Connections - 1 Sum Vay Tet", conveying the message of a connected Tet season to millions of people across the country.
Mr. Lester Tan - General Director of SABECO - affirmed: “As a brand closely associated with the history and culture of Vietnam over the past 150 years, we understand and appreciate the connection and traditional values in Vietnamese culture. Through efforts to accompany the people, SABECO is committed to joining hands to build the local community, as well as bringing good practical values to the people and country of Vietnam”.
