From early morning, young people were present in many areas in the Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Area to support tourists, maintain environmental sanitation, contributing to creating a civilized appearance for the festival.
While picking up trash around the Hung Temple area, Nguyen Tuan Toan, a 10th grade student specializing in French, Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, Phu Tho, said that his house is in Phu Ninh commune.
This is the first year I have participated in serving the festival. “Not only did I experience the festival atmosphere, but I also contributed a small part by picking up trash and keeping the landscape clean and beautiful. I feel very meaningful,” Toan shared.
Sharing the same feeling, Nguyen Chi Mai, a 10th grade student specializing in Literature, Hung Vuong Specialized High School, said that her house is near Hung Temple, so she participates in the festival every year.
However, this year is a special experience when I participate as a volunteer.
Wearing a youthful blue shirt, I feel more clearly my responsibility. The feeling is very different from ordinary times when I just go to temples," Mai said.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Loan, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Phu Tho Vocational College, said that the unit has 20 union members and trainees participating in serving the festival.
According to Ms. Loan, the young people showed a spirit of pioneering and high responsibility. "From 5 am, the children actively gathered, called each other in the group to prepare for work, without needing reminders," she shared.

At the festival, volunteer teams not only participate in collecting garbage and cleaning up the environment but also support people and tourists. From guiding the way, helping families with young children carry things, to supporting arising tasks, young people are all willing to contribute.
According to the Standing Committee of Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union, implementing the plan to organize Hung Kings Commemoration - Hung Temple Festival and Culture - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in 2026, Youth Union levels in the province have simultaneously established volunteer youth teams.
Peak from April 17 to 26, 2026 (ie from March 1 to 10 of the lunar calendar), it is expected to mobilize more than 5,000 turns of union members and youth to participate in serving the festival.
The teams focused on supporting the incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings, coordinating with the police force to divert traffic, participate in preventing congestion, guide tourists, and directly collect waste and maintain the landscape and environment.
Notably, the "Con Lac Chau Hong" team and children participating in the incense offering procession on the morning of March 10th of the lunar calendar created a highlight in traditional education, contributing to arousing national pride in the young generation.
Reality shows that volunteer youth forces not only contribute to ensuring security and order, environmental sanitation but also directly improve the quality of service to tourists.
The beautiful images of the youth of the Land of Origin have contributed to spreading the spirit of responsibility, building the Hung Temple Festival 2026 into a safe, civilized, and culturally rich festival.
