In order to create a space for people to experience the customs and cultural beauty of Tet, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen City has deployed the 2025 Tet space with the theme "Spring Colors of Thai Nguyen City" at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, Trung Vuong Ward.
This is one of the province's outstanding cultural events, scheduled to take place over 12 days (from January 21 to February 1, 2025) with many unique activities.
The highlight is two art programs on the main stage with content honoring the beauty of national culture, along with a unique spring photography and landscape space.
According to PV's records in mid-January 2025, at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, preparations for the program are taking place urgently and vigorously.
Workers are actively constructing and installing welcome gates and completing models of famous symbols such as One Pillar Pagoda, Ben Thanh Market... and other auxiliary items.
Around the event site, environmental and urban workers are rushing to decorate, trim trees, and clean the streets.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thuy, an employee of Phong Thuy Advertising and Interior Trading Company Limited (the contractor) said that the installation work has been going on for about a week now.
"Currently, we are rushing to complete the models, expected to be completed before January 21. The goal is to bring an interesting experience space for people and tourists during the traditional Tet holiday," said Mr. Thuy.
As a resident with a house near the square, Mr. Tran Van Dung (Trung Vuong ward, Thai Nguyen city) shared: "Every year, the Tet space is organized on a larger scale and more professionally.
This is not only a place for sightseeing and entertainment, but also a place to help children understand more about traditional customs. I am very excited and looking forward to this event."
According to information from the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen City, in order for the program to take place safely and effectively, special attention is paid to measures to ensure security and order, environmental sanitation, fire prevention and control, and food safety control.
In addition, propaganda work is promoted on the mass media of the province and city before and during the 2025 Tet space.
