On January 12, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee worked on the provincial road project 25B, 25C and drainage of water in the area outside Long Thanh airport (phase 1).
According to reports from units, for the Provincial Road 25B Upgrade and Expansion Project, the section from the center of Nhon Trach commune, Dong Nai province to National Highway 51 (more than 9 km long through Nhon Trach and Long Thanh communes), to date, the area of land handed over has reached about 70% of the total project area. Regarding construction work, for the main road section on the left, 100% asphalt paving has been completed, the parallel road section on the left has been constructed with rock foundation. For the main road section and the parallel road section on the right, the construction progress is slow due to land clearance issues.
Meanwhile, for the Provincial Road 25C Construction Project, the section from National Highway 51 to Huong Lo 19, (2.56 km long passing through Phuoc An and Long Phuoc communes), contractors have not yet been able to deploy construction on the ground because the handed-over ground area is small and not continuous.
With the drainage project in the area outside Long Thanh airport (phase 1), the drainage connection at Da Vang stream with the drainage system of Long Thanh airport has not been synchronized.
Speaking at the working session, Mr. Ho Van Ha - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said: Long Thanh airport will be put into operation in the first half of 2026. Provincial road projects 25B, 25C play a traffic connection role for Long Thanh airport. Therefore, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board must re-establish the progress track, determine the completion time of the projects. In which, at the latest in June 2026, these 2 projects must be completed.
