On the morning of January 27, thick fog appeared in the area of Noi Bai International Airport, low ceiling clouds limited visibility, disrupting the takeoff and landing operations of some flights.
Representatives of Noi Bai International Airport said that to ensure absolute safety for flight operations, operating units had to adjust their schedules during the morning hours.
Specifically, there were 4 flights that could not take off as planned and 4 flights had to change landing direction. Among these, 3 flights were transferred to Cat Bi airport (Hai Phong) and 1 flight was transferred to Da Nang airport.
At about 8:22 am on the same day, takeoff operations at Noi Bai were restored to normal. At 8:40 am, flights landed again stably.
Previously, on December 31, 2025, many airports such as Dien Bien, Tho Xuan, Vinh also recorded thick fog, causing a series of flights to adjust schedules to ensure safe operation.
