On February 16th (December 29th of the lunar calendar), at fireworks display locations in Ca Mau province, officers and soldiers of the Ca Mau Provincial Military Command organized a review and re-inspection of the entire technical system before the fireworks display to welcome the New Year.

At the fireworks display point in An Xuyen ward, the area of the Provincial Conference Center yard on Le Duan street, the artillery platforms have been arranged neatly according to the design diagram. The frame system, wires, and electrical cylinders are firmly fixed and synchronously inspected to ensure absolute safety during operation.

Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Hoang Huong - Head of Operations Department, Staff Department said that at this firing point, 120 low-altitude fireworks displays are arranged, with a range of 70-90m. Fireworks are coordinated in diverse colors, including effects such as double chrysanthemums, yellow pistil flowers, yellow rain, double silver rain, red palm trees, creating many layers of light interwoven in the New Year's Eve moment.

Along with technical work, the Provincial Military Command coordinates with functional forces to develop plans to ensure security and order, and safety in the fireworks display area. Control rings are established, limiting people and vehicles from approaching dangerous areas, ensuring the organization is in accordance with regulations.

According to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the whole province will organize fireworks displays at 5 locations. Among them, two display locations are located at Hung Vuong Square (Bac Lieu ward) and the Provincial Conference Center Yard (An Xuyen ward). The remaining three locations include the embankment area opposite the Phuoc Long Commune Cultural Center; Monument commemorating the Northern Gathering Train (Song Doc commune); Khai Long Tourist Area (Dat Mui commune).

The simultaneous fireworks display time is at 9:30 PM on February 16, 2026 (Night of the 29th of Tet), after the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reads the New Year's greeting letter. Localities are required to adjust the content of the art program accordingly to ensure a unified firing time.
