Drugs are considered a threat to the whole society, this is one of the main causes of crime and social evils. The consequences caused by drugs seriously affect the socio-economic development and security and order of the locality. Besides, drugs also cause great harm to health, leading to loss of working capacity, degradation of race, human dignity, destruction of family happiness, causing pain and obsession to society.
According to statistics from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), as of June 2023, there were 221,318 drug addicts and illegal drug users nationwide. Of these, 85,521 drug addicts and illegal drug users were under 30 years old (accounting for 38.64%), with up to 3,672 people under 18 years old (accounting for 4% of those under 30 years old).

Through this, it can be seen that drug addiction and illegal drug use among adolescents are becoming serious. Therefore, each family needs to propagate, manage and prevent family members from getting involved in social evils, especially drugs.
The family is the first place to educate and protect children from the risks of getting involved in social evils. This is a strong spiritual resource that helps guide and prevent external temptations from affecting the future of children. In addition, the cohesion of the community and the participation of local organizations also contribute to creating collective strength in propagating, supporting and protecting people from serious social problems.

In the fierce battle to protect the community from the dangers of drugs, there needs to be specific and practical directions and solutions to push back social evils, especially drugs, from reaching families and communities.
