The working delegation was headed by Comrade Ngo Duy Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The delegation included Comrade Do Hong Van, Member of the Presidium, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Comrade Pham Hoai Phuong, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union.
The working delegation visited, presented gifts and encouraged officials, union members, and workers who are constructing at Ring Road 4 projects, and the Tu Lien Bridge Project in Hanoi City.
At the construction sites, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu directly visited and inquired about the employment situation, working conditions, and lives of officials, union members, and workers; acknowledged and praised the spirit of effort of the team of engineers and workers who quickly returned to the construction site after the Tet holiday, actively competing in labor production, contributing to accelerating the progress of key projects of the Capital.
Speaking to encourage workers at the construction site, Comrade Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized the meaning and importance of the projects for the socio-economic development of the Capital and the country.
Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu requested construction units and contractors to continue to pay attention to well implementing a number of key tasks such as: Ensuring progress and quality of works; strengthening measures to ensure labor safety at the construction site; and at the same time better care for the material and spiritual lives of workers, creating conditions for workers to feel secure in working and long-term attachment to the enterprise.
On this occasion, the working delegation of the VGCL and the Vietnam Construction Trade Union presented gifts to encourage officials, union members, and workers who are directly constructing on the construction site, contributing to encouraging the working spirit, promoting the labor production emulation movement, and determined to complete projects on schedule.
On behalf of the construction contractors, Comrade Vo Quang Lam, Chairman of the Trade Union, Deputy General Director of Phuong Thanh Transport Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, on behalf of the contractors, expressed his gratitude for the attention of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and the Vietnam Construction Trade Union to union members and workers working at the construction site.
Comrade Vo Quang Lam affirmed that contractor units will closely coordinate with professional departments and trade union organizations to seriously implement the directions of the Vice President of the VGCL; and at the same time continue to pay attention to caring for life, ensuring working conditions and labor safety for workers, determined to complete projects on schedule and ensure quality.
