Recorded on the morning of October 27, on DT601 road through Ta Lang and Gian Bi villages (Hai Van ward, Da Nang city), many slope locations were seriously eroded, with rocks and soil from the mountainside overflowing onto the road. There is a high risk of unsafety for vehicles traveling through this area, especially in conditions of prolonged heavy rain.
Local people said that after the recent prolonged heavy rains, the soil on DT601 road was leaking water and soft, causing rocks and soil from the mountain slope to continuously subside and slide down the riverbed.
As soon as the incident was discovered, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene, deployed warning ropes, erected barriers and temporarily banned vehicles from circulating in the area to ensure absolute safety for the people.
Mr. Nguyen Thuc Dung - Chairman of Hai Van Ward People's Committee - said that immediately after receiving the report of the landslide, the ward mobilized functional forces to urgently arrive at the scene to handle and reinforce the dangerous area.
At the same time, local authorities have erected barriers and blocked the road, not allowing people to pass to ensure absolute safety for life and property.
