Regarding this project, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province assigned the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot city to review and develop a compensation, re-cultivation and settlement plan. The authorities also estimated compensation and support costs when the State recovers land to implement the project to be about 147 billion VND.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, a resident of this area, said that many working groups from central to local levels have come to the area for field surveys and research to build large hospitals. However, currently, compensation for land and support for crops for people has not yet been implemented by competent authorities. The site clearance compensation work has not yet been implemented, so it is unknown when the project will take shape.
Reality shows that the Central General Hospital project in the Central Highlands region has been identified for construction but has been delayed in implementation. Meanwhile, Buon Ma Thuot City is lacking land funds to implement key projects or attract potential investors to implement projects to promote local socio-economic development.
Mr. Truong Van Chinh - Director of Buon Ma Thuot City Land Fund Development Center confirmed that up to now, no unit has contacted the unit to conduct measurements, tally and plan compensation or support for households in the project area. Only when the investor provides money can the center carry out site clearance work, compensation and support for people.
The local people are impatient and waiting

The capital source for implementation falls under the authority of the Ministry of Health.
The Department of Health of Dak Lak province said that this hospital project was funded by the Ministry of Health and selected investors, and the authorities of Dak Lak province coordinated in choosing the construction location and site clearance to implement the project. In the coming time, the Department will seek opinions and advise the Provincial People's Committee to work with the Ministry of Health on issues related to the project.
