According to initial information, at around 4:40 p.m. on February 18, in the area in front of Long Bien Secondary School (Co Linh Street, Long Bien Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi), a traffic collision occurred between a Mazda car and a motorbike with license plate 99B1-329.XX driven by Mr. D.T.T (born in 2001, residing in Tu Son, Bac Ninh), carrying his wife, Ms. N.T.T.T (born in 2001) and D.P.N (born in 2023, both residing at the above address).
After the collision, the car driver did not stop but continued driving the car away, dragging the motorbike on Vinh Tuy bridge towards Minh Khai (Hai Ba Trung district).
The collision injured Mr. T. and N., who were taken to the emergency room and have now stabilized and been discharged from the hospital. At 9:30 p.m. the same day, the family reported the incident to the authorities.
Upon receiving the information, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 - Hanoi Traffic Police Department urgently verified and identified the related car with license plate 30E-908.XX. The driver of the vehicle was N.L.T (born in 1968, residing in Dong Da district, Hanoi).
On the morning of February 19, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 summoned and asked the driver to bring the vehicle to the headquarters to serve the investigation.
The case is currently being further clarified for handling according to the provisions of law.
